In May, the annual HESTA Nursing Awards were held at the Crown Entertainment Complex in Melbourne. The purpose of this annual event is to reward excellence and outstanding contributions within the nursing industry.
For the third year, ME Bank has been the major supporter of the HESTA Nursing Awards providing the $25,000 prize pool of education and travel grants for the three winners.
Jamie McPhee (CEO), Samm Bell and members of the National Business Development team represented ME Bank on the night. Jamie presented the awards to representatives from across the industry, who demonstrate remarkable commitment to their profession.
The 2010 winners are detailed on the
Member Connect website
The HESTA Nursing Awards recognise the skill and dedication of people working within the community and ME Bank looks forward to continuing its support in 2011.

There has been a lot said about Tony Abbott's credibility but it isn’t difficult to see past his tricky words of “flexibility” and workplace “freedom” for their real meaning.
Can we really afford to go backwards now?
Since launching the " WorkChoices. Whatever the name, never again!" campaign we've been out there telling as many Australians as possible about Tony Abbott's plans to bring back WorkChoices. In the past week we've launched new radio and newspaper advertisements to tell even more Australians about his plans.
To read this article visit the
Your Rights At Work website.
You can help out now by downloading our A5 leaflet and letterboxing your local neighbourhood; spreading the word about our radio and newspaper ads; watching our YouTube videos; and by joining up to the campaign to get regular updates and details of what else you can do.
WorkChoices. Whatever the name, never again!
