Current ACTU Campaigns
The ACTU oversees many campaigns, from industrial campaigns based around workplace issues, to broader social campaigns around fairness and justice.

The ACTU's Minimum Wage campaign fights for wage increases for low paid workers. For 100 years the Australian Industrial Relations Commission set the minimum wage for low paid Australian workers.  The commission's role in setting the minimum wage was abolished by the Howard Government's 2006 WorkChoice act.  The new Fair Pay Commission does not have to consider what is fair, or take into account living standards in the community.  Click here for information on past ACTU minimum wage campaigns.
