1. Web Campaigns Officer
Unions are embarking on an exciting new phase of representing the rights of working Australians and we need a talented and energetic Web Campaigns Officer to join our successful campaigning team.
In this role you will use your demonstrated union or community campaigning experience to take a major role in developing online technologies to activate union members and the wider community.
This is a fast-moving and demanding role in a national political and industrial relations environment that offers an excellent career opportunity for the right person.
We are looking for someone with a tertiary qualification, strong writing skills and demonstrated experience in union or community online campaigning or communications roles.
Knowledge of online campaigning strategies, emerging online tools and familiarity with multimedia desirable.
The position is based in Melbourne. Competitive salary plus 15% superannuation.

2. National Organising Manager (Sydney Office)
The ACTU Organising Centre is looking for a National Organising Manager, to be based
in its Sydney Office. The principal role of the position is to oversee and manage the
development and implementation of union change and consultancy projects at a national
level and to manage the day to day operations and staff of the Sydney and Brisbane
Centres.
The applicant will have demonstrated experience in working in a senior leadership role
within the union movement, a well developed understanding of union education and
organising principles, experience in implementing organisational change in a union,
experience in liaising with a range of stakeholders and in developing relationships and
networks, demonstrated experience in managing projects, budgets and staff, and an
understanding and knowledge of contemporary industrial relations issues impacting on
unions and workplaces.

3. Campaign Organisers Melbourne (Casual)
Dept: ACTU Member Connect
The ACTU Call Centre facilitates a broad range of campaigns for affiliates and other organisations. This position is at the frontline of our communications with Members and the broader community. The position involves making calls to Members as part of a broad range of campaigns.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
High level customer service skills.
High level telephone skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Good computer skills.
Positive attitude under pressure.
A commitment to the values of the Union movement
Desired:
Previous Union/Student Union experience not essential this is an entry level position and induction and training is provided.
Salary
$20.66/hour
