The global financial crisis has highlighted important failings of the current financial system.  Workers’ capital has been heavily impacted as pension funds and other forms of investment suffered sizeable losses.  Workers’ savings can be better protected with improved regulation, better governance, enhanced investment policies and due consideration of extra-financial risks. As stewards of workers’ capital, trustees are in a unique position to set this new course. Please note this forum is for union appointed trustees only.
