REST Super was established in 1988.  Open to all Australians, we are Australia’s largest superannuation fund by membership, with over 1.9 million members and more than $17 billion of funds under management.

Our board is made up of both employer and employee representatives from the retail industry.  Four directors are nominated on behalf of employees by the Shop Distributive and Allied Employees Association (SDA).  The other four directors are nominated by and represent employers and employer associations.  They currently comprise three major employers participating in REST, and the Australian National Retailers Association. This means that employees and employers are equally represented.
