The focus of ACTU Congress 2006 was on industrial relations policy and the union movements response to the Governments Work Choices legislation. Comprehensive policy on superannuation and retirement incomes was adopted at the 2003 Congress.
The purpose of this position paper is to:
(1) reiterate the 2003 policy;
(2) set out key developments since 2003; and
(3) identify principles and priorities for the next three years.
